Neural Foundation Assessment

Who is a Neural Foundation Assessment for?

A Neural Foundation Assessment is for anyone that has had traumatic injury or experiences and is looking to balance any neural components that may have been affected and are contributing to conditions of limitation.

What is a Neural Foundation Assessment?

The Neural Foundation Assessment looks at the foundation of basic neural connections and operations to optimize pain-free function. This process is something we typically do if the Functional Movement Screening is not accessible or appropriate for establishing a baseline of one’s foundation.

Here’s what we will be looking for during the Neural Foundation Assessment:

  • Vestibular Stability & Balance

  • Left & Right Brain Communication

  • Mind Body Proprioception

  • Desensitization & Hypersensitization

What’s Next….?

After a Neural Foundation Assessment, we will go over the results and plan for resolution right then and there with you. Forming a clear understanding of what is needed for progress is crucial if any disconnects are found during this assessment process. Once you have established a strong steady foundation in the Neural Foundation Assessment, you will want to move on to the Functional Movement Screening.
