Spring Season Renewal: Gentle detox through whole foods cuisine

During the Spring season nature demonstrates upward growth and renewal. We will discuss this transition using concepts from Five Transformation Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

Learn to cultivate nurturing love for your liver during this intense transition time. Assist the body to naturally detox and replenish the cells with clean nutrient dense foods. 

In this two hour cooking demonstration class we will begin with a taste of bright green juice and savory noodle miso broth. Then we will learn how to prepare recipes with a variety of flavors and textures to brighten the senses and feed the cells. 

The class will include the recipes below.

Your daily green juice:
Cucumber, celery, green apple, dandelion greens, carrots, and lemon.

Quick miso tea over noodles.

Refried lentils with cilantro and spring onions.

Live green vegetable rolls. Tamari ginger dipping sauce.

Steamed greens. kinpira. Sweet and sour miso sauce.

Pomegranate gelee with fresh berries and cultured cashew cream.

This two hour class includes cooking demonstrations, tastings, and a recipe packet to take home.
